The Pet Food Association of Canada (PFAC) is the national voice of the pet food industry in Canada.  PFAC represents pet food manufacturers who supply most of the pet food sold in this country and who export to almost 90 countries around the world.  PFAC also represents members who supply the pet food industry with ingredients, products and services.  The association provides members with regulatory support, government relations, export and market access support and other services.

PFAC members follow robust food safety and nutrition criteria

PFAC members take the safety and quality of your pet’s food seriously.  All follow a recognized food safety program, such as a Global Food Safety Initiative scheme, a HACCP based program, or similar.  PFAC members also follow AAFCO nutritional guidelines to ensure a complete and balanced diet of appropriate nutrition for both cats and dogs.

Imports: 97% of imported pet food is from the USA
